“Third arrest made in U of L-area sex assaults”

A video made for a story about two violent sexual assaults near the University of Louisville campus. This was done for my job as a breaking news reporter for the Courier-Journal.

“Media Apprenticeship Class at the University of Arizona”

A video on the media apprenticeship class offered by the University of Arizona School of Journalism. The internship allows students the opportunity to get real-world experience by working at the Arizona Daily Star. This assignment was done for my Journalism 505: Media Apprenticeship class.

“Government Shutdown”

A package on the possible long-term effects of the government shutdown on the Tucson, Ariz. community. It features interviews with University of Arizona Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid University Compliance Manager Bobbi Lehman, Vietnam Veterans of America President Dan Ross and University of Arizona student and Army veteran Nicholas Gonzalez. This assignment was done for my JOUR 385 – Beginning TV Reporting and Production class at the University of Arizona.

“Students and the Tucson Community”

A project I did for my Journalism 307: Principles of Multimedia class on the relationship between students and the Tucson, Ariz. residents (in terms of apartment complexes close to campus). The video features interviews with Jessica Dollin, a University of Arizona junior and resident of The District on 5th, Dave Boston, a Tucson resident in the West University Neighborhood, and Steve Kozachik, Tucson Vice Mayor and member of the Tucson City Council.

“Life in America”

A project I did for my Journalism 203: Photojournalism class on businesses around the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson, Ariz. It profiles Ella Moore, the manager of Campus Athletic, Gabe Ibarra, the general manager of Campus Candy, and Mort Edberg, the co-owner of Landmark Clothing and Shoes.
